I started as teen taking snap shots of family and friends. The birth of my daughter gave me reasons to take more pictures as did my ability in 1995 to travel more. With the increased interest in photography I traded in the point and shoot for a 35 mm SLR. As my interest grew I was prompted to take courses at George Brown and to attend workshops at OCAD. This helped me evolve from taking snap shots to attempting to be more creative and start taking photographs of the world around me.

In 2008 I received my first digital camera. I have started to explore the world of digital but keep my film camera close at hand.

In 2008 I retired and now find the time to put more into the art of taking pictures. Photography has now evolved into a passion and I continue to learn and strive for the perfect picture.

Using the Photo Viewer on the members' pages
Hover over an image to access controls.  You can also click the thumb to view a particular photo. Move your mouse away from the image to remove the controls.

Members who want their own page should submit 8 photos (although a few more is OK if you want) and a bio to the Communications Director.  Photos should be at least 400 pixels in each dimension - more is better but they will be reduced to 400 for this page - although you can request larger if you like.  All photos the same size works better in this viewer but it's not critical.
