Submit Images

Please ensure you rename your images prior to uploading them according to the following guidelines.

In summary:

1. You DO NOT have to add your name to any file, this is added automatically by the Dropbox Uploader.

2. For Theme and Photographer's Choice you only need to rename your file with your title for the image.

3. For Outings, we ask you add the outing name to the title in the format "Outing Name - Image Title".

THEME IMAGES

Images for Theme (maximum of 2) should be named with the Title you want displayed with your image in the slideshow with uppercase for the first letter of each word and a space between words (e.g. "Windy Day"). The theme topic is posted on the website for each month.

PHOTOGRAPHER'S CHOICE

Images for Photographer’s Choice (maximum of 2) should be named with the Title you want displayed with your image in the slideshow with uppercase for the first letter of each word and a space between words (e.g. "Dog Day Afternoon").

OUTINGS

Images for the Outings Slide Show should be named with the name of the Outing (maximum of 2 per Outing), a dash and the Title you want displayed with your image in the slideshow (e.g. "Rice Lake - My Image Title").

PUBLIC LIBRARY

Public Library image submissions can be submitted at any time. By submitting the image, you are granting the right for that image to be displayed by the club on the NPC public Facebook Page or on the Website. Images submitted to the Public Library must be less than 2MB in size. If you wish to add your name to your image via a subtle watermark, please do so because we will not be able to add them on the public display. You can submit with a file name that may or may not be used. When ready, use the link on the right to upload your images for Public Library. The NPC executive reserves the right to accept or reject photographs submitted based on their suitability for display (Aspect ratio, content etc) and/or the current size of the library. The member can, at any time, request the photo be deleted from the library via email with the submitted file name included.

MEMBER SLIDESHOWS

Member slideshows are presented twice each club year, at the December meeting and the June meeting. Those slideshows must be ready to run and meet the time constraints provided - no more than 4 minutes.

SPECIAL PROJECTS

Special Projects are undertaken by the club on an ad hoc basis. Guidelines for Special Project submissions will be communicated per project to the membership.
